IT MATTERS: DAY 6


Step 1: Read today's verses.

Step 2: Summarize each passage in a short, concise statement.

Step 3: Use the comment section to share one passage and your summation. 

Recommendation: Consider writing your statement in your Bible beside the given text.  This practice will allow you to review your thoughts a year from now, or you can pass your Bible along to a new Christian, child, or grandchild to help them in their journey of faith. 

Genesis 4:13-26

Progress without God is illusory; progress with God is true progress. 

Joshua 5:13-15; 6:1-27

Whatever God promises, God performs.

Psalm 7

Trust in God's wisdom and will, then we will have peace regardless of the immediate outcome. 

Isaiah 4:2-6; 5:1-7

What more could God have done; don't be grace-resistant. 

Matthew 3:13-17; 4:1-11

The Spirit of God does not keep us from temptation but keeps us in our temptation. 

Romans 2:12-16

Since God will impartially judge everyone for sinning against what they know to be right, everyone is guilty, and thus everyone needs the gospel.
